Jonathan Pico dead at 29 – RIP JONNY TSUNAMI!

Jonathan Pico: An MMA veteran and a beloved member of the Hawaii MMA Community has died.

Jonathan Pico, a professional mixed martial arts veteran of 6 fights, died Thursday at a very young age of 29, according to various social media posts from family and friends.

“One of the most exciting local MMA fighters from Hawaii, he knows how to market himself; he can fill up a stadium to watch him.”

Jon Pico has an amateur record of 4 wins and no losses, all by knockouts. Jon Pico’s athleticism and power to knock out his opponent are unmatched. Bobby King, the now rising Bellator fighter, was no match to Jon Pico in his 2014.

After staggering four amateur wins without any losses, Jon Pico turned professional in 2017. Pico faced Ray Braddah Cooper at X1 World Events 46: Armed and Dangerous. Cooper vs. Pico was the co-main event held in Maui Memorial Complex. The current PFL reigning Champion – Ray Braddah Cooper III defeated him in the first round.

Jon Pico made a massive comeback in 2019 at Cage Titans. He rocked The Plymouth Memorial Hall with an outstanding performance against Billy Golf. He cut him deeply that the doctor put an end to the fight.

Jon Pico, you will be missed. RIP Jon.

 

Sure Jonny wasn’t an Angel. He sure did some mistakes like all of us. He didn’t deserve to go away like this.
