Hawaii MMA News: Maki Pitolo is off the UFC Vegas card and is replaced by the new dog in the Middleweight – Gregory Rodrigues!
After being crowned the new Middleweight Champion, Gregory Rodrigues will be making his first stop to the UFC Octagon. What a journey it has been for the Robocop.
Rodrigues almost hang the gloves when he lost to Jordan Williams at the Dana White Contender Series last year.
Gregory Rodrigues is a 29 year old Jiujitsu Practitioner representing Deerfield, California, by way of Manaus, Amazonas, Brazil.
Gregory fought in LFA and knocked his way up to the Middleweight Title (in just 9 weeks)
He knocked out Al Matavao in March that set him up for Middleweight Championship.
He brutally knocked out Josh Fremd in his hometown.
Gregory Rodrigues will be making his UFC debut this coming June 5.

Gregory Rodrigues will be fighting Dusko Todorovic
Duško Todorović is a 26 years old fighter from Belgrade, Serbia.
Todorović is also known as Thunder for a reason. He knocks out fighters in Serbia, Japan, and Europe at a young age.
That was his golden ticket to the Dana White Contender Series, where he faced the toughest opponent of his life – Teddy Ash.
In 2019, Todorović won the fight via Unanimous Decision. He didn’t get the finish, but then Dana White saw massive potential in him. Dana White took Duško Todorović gave him multiple contracts in the UFC.
After three fights cancellations, he finally made his first appearance in UFC in Abu Dhabi. Duško defeated Dequan Townsend in a sterling manner. Ground and Pound on the second round.
He came in with a lot of hype because of his undefeated record of 10 early this year.
That perfect record of 10 wins was taken away by the Hawaiian – Punahele Soriano.
