Maki Pitolo vs. Doug Usher both making their Eagle FC debuts
A Fantastic Middleweight matchup added to May 20 lineup as the card fills for promotion’s next event on the FLX case Arena in Miami.
MMA Underground confirmed with promotion officials that Maki Pitolo (13-9) and Doug Usher (13-3) are scheduled to meet at the May 20 event, which takes place at FLXcast Arena in Miami and streams live on the FLXcast app.
After his UFC release in 2021 due to consecutive losses, Pitolo returned to action for his first post-UFC bout in March, picking up a hard-fought decision win over longtime veteran Fernando Gonzalez under the Tuff-N-Uff banner.
On a nine-fight winning streak, Doug Usher is looking to make a mark on his debut. Usher has a fight record of 13 wins, and 12 have come by way of stoppage, including ten knockouts.
Usher has only been defeated three times early on in his career.
