Martin Day – (Kailua, Hawaii) – the 33-year-old former UFC Fighter will be returning to the cage after his UFC release in 2021. After suffering consecutive losses in the past, Martin Day is ready for another go.

Former UFC Fighter Martin Day returns to the Cage on April 30
Martin Day started his MMA Career in 2014 when he debuted his Amateur career at Destiny, a local fight promotion in Hawaii. After three consecutive wins in one year, he was ready to turn professional.
Professional MMA Career
In January 2015, Martin began his MMA journey. Winning streaks after winning streaks, Martin was prepared. In 2017, he entered the Dana White Contender Series with six fights (5 wins and one loss) and performed excellently, though he didn’t win the fight and the contract.
After scoring three consecutive wins, Martin joined the UFC. In November 2018, Martin Day (8-2) made his UFC Debut in Beijing, China, against Pingyuan Liu (14-4)
After losing via Split Decision, Martin Day had three consecutive canceled bouts because of the Covid-19 Pandemic.
Day returned in July 2020, facing Davey Grant; this fight was spectacular from start to finish! Martin Day put Davey Grant down and gave him a solid, but Grant had good stamina and was able to take in punches. Martin Day was gassed out on the third round and was caught in a left hook.
Later that year, Martin Day faced Anderson Dos Santos. He was caught in a tight Guillotine Choke in the first round of the fight.
In February 2021, Martin Day accepted yet another last-minute fight against Timur Valiev. The battle lasted three rounds, and Martin didn’t get the win. Timur Valiev brought home the Unanimous Decision win.
Martin Day never stops training. He is the Head Coach at Martial Arts Company Hawaii.
