Hawaii MMA News: Ray Cooper iii scheduled to meet Russia’s Nikolay Aleksakhin
PFL announced its next round of welterweight matchups.
The June 17 event will serve as the final opportunity for fighters to earn a spot in the 2021 playoffs.
The winner of the playoffs will get one million dollars and will be crowned the PFL welterweight Champion of the world.
Ray Cooper III is a 28-year-old father of 5 children living in
Pearl City, Hawaii. He has a record of 21 wins, seven losses, and one draw.
Ray Cooper iii is one of the most dangerous welterweight fighters in the world. He has a 100 percent finishing rate, and this is what makes him super exciting to watch.
Ray Braddah Cooper is a legend in Hawaii. He is Champion at X1 World Events, where Max Holloway was also a Champion.
Waiting on the other side is Nikolai Aleksakhin.
Nikolay Aleksakhin has an impressive record of 26 wins and five losses.
He last faces Sabidou Sy, where the fight was declared a No Contest due to an eye poke.
PFL is a new home for the 30 years old Russian. Nikolay Aleksakhin PFL debut was in October 2019, where he knocks out Jesse Gordon in the first round.
This will mark Aleksakhin’s third fight in the PFL.
The event will take place in Atlantic City, New Jersey, and air on ESPN2 and ESPN+.
