Hawaii Boxing News: Rodney Mondala didn’t get the Win at his pro boxing debut, optimistic
Cleveland, Ohio, – Rodney Mondala faced a tough opponent Armond Richard (now 5-0)
Rodney Mondala stated:
As you may know, I didn’t get the W this past weekend making my Pro Boxing Debut in Cleveland. It was a great experience and I’d do it again. So much to takeaway from it, good and bad. Many improvements to work on. But you gotta admit, that wasn’t bad for an “MMA guy”. Wasn’t bad for a fighter with no boxing ring experience. Know any other pro boxers that boxed in wrestling shoes? 🤣
Random observation/stereotype I came up with years ago, one that I feel I fit in to… Filipino fighters like to come forward 🤷🏾♂️ 😆. Haven’t watched a single Filipino fighter move around and use the perimeter of the ring. We all just kinda walk forward. This past Saturday was no different 🤦🏾♂️ 🤣.
In all seriousness, I’m okay everyone. I’m already back to training. No need to worry about me. You never have to, I’m always all good 😆. Thanks for checking up. Also wanna thank you ALL for the love and support you showed me leading up to the fight. Big shout out to @teamhawaiipromotions @xclusive_mma @delightbrandclothing @bang4bang808 @hawaiianfightgear for the love, exposure, and help. I really appreciate you guys 🤙🏾
