Punahele Soriano returns to the Octagon on January 14, 2023 to face an equal opponent in the face of Roman Kopyylov.

Punahele Soriano is a 30 year old fighter from Oahu, Hawaii. Puna has a fight record of 9 wins and 2 losses, recently broke out of his losing streak with a big knock out win against Dalcha Lungiambula in July.

This fight will be Puna’s sixth appearance in the UFC. 3-2

Puna is ready to extend his win streak and to continue what he started.

Punahele Soriano will be facing Russia’s Roman Kopylov

Roman Kopylov, a 31 year old fighter from Novosibirsk, Russia. He has a fight record of 9 wins and 2 losses.

Like Puna, he was undefeated when he joined UFC in 2019.

Like Punahele Soriano, he recently broke out of his two fight losses with a big knockout win against Alessio Di Chirico in September.

This fight will be Roman’s fourth appearance in the UFC.

Punahele Soriano definitely wins this fight. He has more experience than Kopylov in the Octagon, if the fight goes to the ground,  Puna has more edge having a wrestling background in his back pocket.
